How to get in

Two ways to play.
Pick the one that fits.

Both options connect you to a live training server. Same scenarios, same commands, different front door.

For groups already on Discord.

Add the bot to your server. Type a slash command. It spins up a scenario and replies with a connect link. Everyone clicks, everyone joins.

Best when your five already talk in the same server and you want zero extra tabs.

STEP 01

Add the bot

One click invite. Bot only needs read and send in the channel you pick.

STEP 02

Start a scenario

Type /play retake or /play midboss. Bot posts a connect link.

STEP 03

Click and drop in

Link opens Deadlock on the right server. Scenario starts when players ready up.

For solo, or when Discord is too much.

Open play.deadlock.bot. See what servers are live, which scenario each is running, how full they are. Click one to connect.

No account. No install. Works on phone if you just want to queue while on the train.

Chat commands run the server.

Anyone on the server can use these. Type them in team chat.

/reset

Reset the scenario. Back to start positions, full health, timer restart.

/scenariosetup

Apply the current scenario config to everyone. Items, souls, modifiers, spawn points.

/souls <n>

Set souls for all players. Useful for mid boss or late game fight states.

/announce

Call out the scenario start. Everyone sees a HUD banner with the goal.

Free to try. Pay to skip the line.

Running a dedicated takes real money. Free stays free — pay when you want more.

Why pay at all?

Valve hasn't shipped training tools. We built one, and running dedicated servers costs real money. Free stays free forever. If you get value from TRAINING and want your own server, or you want to support development, the paid tiers fund the project. That's the whole pitch — no lock-in, no dark patterns, cancel any time.
